A history behind Exalos Indonesia's establishment

So, before growing up and having many activities supported by militant volunteers, what is the story of the formation of Exalos Indonesia? "Initially founded in 2016 under the name Exalos (Exotic Animal Lovers) Solo. It was only a hobbyist community to accommodate those who keep snakes, conduct education, and those who buy and sell animals," said the chairman of Exalos Indonesia, Janu W. Widodo, at his official residence at Brigif 6, Palur, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, Central Java. 

Janu joined Exalos Solo when it was only two years since it was founded. The hobbyist community then developed into a community of volunteers and snake rescuers. As it continued to exist and develop, Exalos Solo then changed its name to Exalos Indonesia. 

Exalos Indonesia's activities are also more focused on saving reptiles. But then it progressed to handling wasps. Now the community has removed the buying and selling of snakes and other reptiles. "We have around 600 volunteers in 26 regional areas such as in Dumai, Palembang, Lampung, Jambi, Sorong, Fakfak, Jakarta, Bandung, Tegal, Brebes, Solo Raya, Madiun, Kediri, Surabaya and others," said Janu.
